But surely you'd agree that the cases themselves are far from equivalent in the fuller context. <br /><br />Even the roles of the attorney vs the economist in each case are not equivalent, unless we assume that the economist has more specialized knowledge of the particular transaction than the parties to it. And if the economist did have more specialized knowledge of the particular transaction than the parties to it, would he still be serving the role of economist qua economist?
