Who Will Be the Ellsberg for Iraq?

A pretty cool LRC article, though I don't know how I feel about the voters' pledge. I suppose it would be consistent with my principles to promise not to vote for a war candidate. I also promise not to vote for a peace candidate...

  1. Interesting question: While I am, in general, againsgt voting in current circumstances, if voting could stop the assault on Iraq, would I do it? I think I might.

  2. Then why wouldn't you vote to stop the confiscation of trillions of dollars from the American public, the construction of nuclear weapons, the locking up of millions of nonviolent drug users...etc.? When it comes to the ends justifying the means, America First!

  3. Oh, if a vote came up where I really could stop those things, I probably would vote.
