Idealism in Verse and Picture

"Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
There beneath the blue suburban skies" -- Paul McCartney and John Lennon

"Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has its beaches, it's homeland and thoughts of it's own.
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings,
The heart has its seasons, its evenings and songs of its own." -- Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia

And finally, Chagall, "The Village and I":

A little off topic, but when I was a kid I got to experience a GD concert. They did a rendition of 'Eyes of the World' that lasted at least 30 minutes, Jerry was really on point that night. What amazed me more was the spinners in the audience (those people that just spin around and around in circles to the music). I couldn't believe the stamina these people had, but as I got older it occurred to me that when you have a head-full of acid, that spinning around in circles for a few hours really isn't all that difficult.
