Most Ridiculous Ad Campaign?

How about the new American Express campaign touting their member points as "the social currency"!

As if their ever could have been any such thing as a "non-social currency." What, one just trades it with oneself?

  1. It's the same with demands or initiatives for business to do something "social".

    What does that even mean? Since when was business some individualistic enterprise, where one person produces by oneself, trades with oneself, and only consumes the product of oneself?
