Meet the Verifier

This NYT article suffers from all such news pieces, that it's not technical enough for you to really understand what's going on. Even so, this description of a guy who goes around pointing out how entire fields are blind to their assumptions is just awesome. I mean, he's getting paid to do what I do for free.


  1. Trouble is, in all academic fields, something like the Verifier will be resisted because reputations, grants, promotions and power are on the line. Verifier might point that out, but the people who want to maintain their power will ignore it. That's why, in some fields, it takes a generation to literally die off before a new idea is accepted (e.g., Maxwell's electromagnetic field equations).

    I want to have a lot of wow gold so i will go to earn the World of Warcraft Gold to make me strong. i like the warcraft gold very much, i can buy wow gold and then i can always get some cheap wow gold in the game.
