Oh, really? Right there at the end, in the section titled "Conclusion," that's where you're going to conclude? What a remarkable innovation!

I thought that, contra McCloskey, editors actually do insist for your writing to be as stilted as possible?

DeleteSo at least it isn't mandatory.
